Voters of District 31 should know that bad judgment and lying about your background are lousy qualifications for elected office.

Nicole Chavez has been too irresponsible in her personal life to write serious laws for the rest of us to follow. She was arrested for aggravated drunk driving and was arrested for failing to appear in court. 

Most recently, she’s lied about education credentials and living in this district.

Nicole Chavez was charged with AGGRAVATED DWI (under her previous married name of Nicole Nally). She blew twice the legal limit and failed multiple sobriety tests.

More recently, in a separate incident, Chavez was charged and found guilty of failing to appear in court.

In the real world, if an employer discovers that an employee falsified their academic background, an employee would face immediate termination, as misrepresenting qualifications are grounds for dismissal. 

When candidate Nicole Chavez ran in 2022 and in the 2024 Republican primary, she said she had a B.S. in Business Administration when filing out candidate questionnaires, but then this September she said she had a AA and is working towards a BS.

NICOLE CHAVEZ IS LYING ABOUT HOW LONG SHE’S LIVED IN OUR DISTRICT.

In May, Nicole Chavez told the Albuquerque Journal she's lived in our community and district for 8 years, but two years ago she ran for State House in another part of Albuquerque and she swore she lived there. She's lying about where she lives and how long she’s lived here.
